Ejaculatory Duct Obstruction

From Dr. Brad Hennenfent:

Ejaculatory Duct Obstruction and Prostatitis may be confused. Here are a few experts on ejaculatory duct obstruction, in no particular order, and what little information I have on them:

Paul J Turek MD
Department of Urology
San Francisco, CA
Recently published a paper that gives the followup on TURED patients treated for infertility not pain" J. Urol.155: 1291-1293, 1996.

Larry Lipschultz, MD
Baylor University
6560 Fanin
Suite 2100
Houston, Texas 77030
Does the transurethral resection of the ejaculatory ducts, and is published.

Jonathan P. Jarrow, MD
North Carolina Baptist Hospital
The Bowman Gray School of Medicine
Medical Center Boulevard
Winston-Salem, NC 27157-1094
Passes a guidewire though the ultrasound probe into the seminal vesicle, through the prostate and out the penis. Then threads a catheter over the wire sticking out the penis through the prostate and into the ejaculatory ducts and dilates them, and is published.

Peter N. Schlegel, MD
New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center Department of Urology, Room F-907a
525 East 68th Street
New York, NY 10021
Does a transurethral retrograde procedure to insert a catheter and dilate the ejaculatory ducts. Also usually has to partially resect the verumontanum to get the instruments in, and is published in a textbook, the Textbook of Endourology, by Sosa, et. al.
