Can a rare tumor cause Chronic Prostatitis?

A rare tumor that is visible by transrectal ultrasound may cause chronic prostatitis or the symptoms of chronic prostatitis. The tumor is called a papilloma, or in this case an inverted prolapsing papilloma. An article about this case can be read at:
