Introduction of Doctor George Yuan Lu, President of Xi'an Renai Hospital, Xi'an, Shaanxi, China
George Yuan Lu, M.D. was the only doctor recommended in China by the Department of National Health Administration for treatment of chronic prostatitis in 1996. Doctor Lu is also a member of the Special Committee of Prostatic Diseases for the Chinese Traditional Medicine Association.
Chronic prostatitis is considered an incurable non-cancerous disease by many sufferers and urologists. Actually, it often is the main cause for sterility, impotence, and premature ejaculation. Many things, for example, excessive drinking, catching cold, over working and long-distance bicycling may lead to such diseases.
In recent years, there have been increasing cases of prostatitis caused by the infection of venereal diseases (sexually transmitted diseases) in China. This is why it is difficult to cure chronic venereal diseases.
Unmarried young men who have the habit of frequent masturbation for years will face such problems as sterility, impotence, dizziness, weakness and premature ejaculation after marriage. They do not know that excessive self-stimulation damages the prostate.
The symptoms for chronic prostatitis sufferers vary from person to person. Typically, the patient will experience bloating or feel wetness in the perigenital area (perineum, groin, testicular region). Very often pain will radiate to the lower back or the inside of the thighs and is worse in the afternoon, especially after drinking or working. In severe cases, the pain is hard to endure. The patient has a bad memory, lack of concentration, difficulty working, and is confined to bed.
In uncommon cases, the patient sometimes will only feel pain when a digital rectal examination is being performed. In some cases patients have no discomfort at all, and the presence of more white blood cells and less lecithin during the analysis of prostate fluid is the only way of detecting the condition.
It is worth emphasizing that more than half of sterility is caused by chronic prostatitis. On analysis of the seminal fluid, we can find most of the sperm dead, presence of white blood cells and delaying of liquefaction.
For a long time, the medical world has not reached a conclusive understanding of the disease. Many theories exist, and yet none is considered as a common acceptable cause for the disease. New methods for the treatment of the disease have come up frequently yet none have been effective.
After he graduated from Zhejiang Medical University, Dr. Lu worked for Xi'an Central Hospital and the Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital, Department of Urology for over ten years. He is now the president of Xi'an Renai Hospital. Dr. Lu has spent approximately ten years treating patients suffering from chronic prostatitis. He has detected the real cause and mechanism of chronic prostatitis.
The following information is from an interview with Dr. Lu. When asked to describe chronic prostatitis, Dr. Lu stated: "The prostate is made of thirty to fifty acini, each with its own opening to the upper urethra. Bacteria or other microorganisms could move into acini through the openings, reproduce and release toxins within the lumen and develop into prostatitis."
Pathological studies show that a prostatic acinus which is blocked by inflammatory obstruction prevents the prostatic fluid from flowing out of the lumen, causing fluid pressure to rise and gradually changing the shape of the acinus. This is what causes the sufferer to feel bloating in the perigenital area or somewhere else. Of course, when the toxins osmose into blood circulation and are carried to all parts of the body, the patient will often experience impaired memory, find it hard to concentrate, catch colds and become weary or dizzy.
The bacteria other kind of microorganism in the enlarged acinus live within a warm and uncirculated environment and cannot flow out with prostatic fluid. In this environment, they get nutrition for rapid reproduction from the fluid that was produced for feeding spermatozoon. Therefore, an enlarged acinus creates a perfect environment for bacteria.
Simply taking medicine, getting physical therapy or even injecting antibiotics into the prostate will not unblock the inflammatory obstruction and will not produce satisfactory results. Digital rectal massage can drain a little bit of the prostatic fluid, temporarily releasing fluid pressure and relieving the symptoms. But the continuous secretion of the prostatic fluid will fill up the acini and make the symptoms appear again. The only way to solve the problem is by opening the acinus and draining out the prostatic fluid that contains a lot of bacteria, eliminating the bacteria from the acinus, repairing of the inflammatory prostate and improving the immunity of the organ. This is the basic theory behind Dr. Lu's "Unblocking Treatment."
Based upon a Chinese traditional medicine tenet-" Obstructing causes pain, unblocking makes pain disappear," his theory was first introduced at the 4th National Urology Council Meeting in Xi'an China in 1992. It received wide recognition and was highly praised.
To date, Dr. Lu has successfully cured more than 2,000 patients using this method. The combining of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine with modern technology, resulted in this innovative cure for the illness. The main procedure of the treatment is to approach the prostate from the anus carefully using a specially designed precise instrument and applying medicine right on the prostate.
External medicine is applied in certain areas. The treatment will not damage any body tissue. There are no side effects either. All the patients who have received the treatment have experienced dramatic relief of the symptoms after ten minutes of the treatment.
Symptoms for many patients disappeared after the first treatment. However, the entire process takes about 3 to 5 treatments for most patients and can be completed within a week. The treatment is usually given every other day. Clinical recovery can be reached after one week of treatment. Special medication is required for two weeks to stabilize the treatment. The symptoms on more than ninety-seven percent of the patients disappeared completely after the treatment. Recurrence was only observed in a very few special cases.
Dr. Lu has treated patients throughout China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. His achievements have been widely published in many newspapers and magazines in China and Hong Kong. Praise and thank you cards have come from many patients who had suffered severely for years due to the disease until treated by Dr. Lu. He has received many telephone calls from those who had longed for children and finally realized their wishes after receiving the "Unblocking Treatment."
The success of the unblocking treatment for the chronic prostatitis indicates a clear understanding of the disease. The once incurable disease has finally met its conqueror-"Unblocking Treatment," just like Napoleon's army being defeated in "Waterloo" nearly two centuries ago.
It is firmly believed that more and more patients will benefit from the "Unblocking Treatment".

Dr. Lu's answers to frequently asked questions:
1. Does the blanket surrounding the prostate prevent medicine from osmosing into the tissue and, thereby, make the medicine ineffective?
The prostate is surrounded by a thick blanket. The medicine osmoses into the tissue through the blood capillary, and the prostate is rich in blood supplies.
There is no connection between the blanket and the difficulty of curing the chronic prostatitis.
2. Why does the "Unblocking treatment" produce instant results for the treatment of chronic prostatitis?
The shape of the prostate acini is thin and lengthy. This is the anatomic reason of why treating prostatitis with traditional methods is unsuccessful. Once the acini is blocked or partially blocked, even large doses of the effective antibiotics will not be sufficient to obtain satisfactory results. The same problem is encountered in clinical surgery occasionally. For example, if a patient has a low fever after an operation, large doses of potent antibiotics will not bring down the fever. Consequently, an experienced surgeon will study the area of operation incision to locate any abscess deep inside it and drain out the pus.
The patient will be recover soon. The "Unblocking Treatment" applies a similar procedure for instant release of the symptoms and soon recovery.
3. How are chronic venereal diseases related to prostatitis?
The common venereal diseases are gonococcus and non-gonococcus urethritis. A slight red swell around the urinary opening and/or white fluid flowing from the urethra will be observed at the beginning stage. If it is not completely cured immediately, infections will develop to the upper urethra and cause prostatitis. This kind of chronic prostatitis is the reason why it is difficult to cure chronic venereal diseases.
4. Will chronic prostatitis develop into prostate cancer or benign prostatic hyperplasia?
Chronic prostatitis, prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) are the three most common diseases of the prostate. Among them, chronic prostatitis and prostate cancer happen in the same location in the prostate. There is no conclusion about the relationship between the two. BPH happens in the center of prostate among the elderly. There is no direct connection between prostatitis and BPH. However, the patients who suffer from BPH often have inflammation in prostate, and the patients who suffer from prostatitis usually have a swelling prostate because of the inflammation. Hence, there are many similar symptoms between the two.
5. Can patients receive medicine for the "Unblocking Treatment" by mail, instead of coming to Xi'an Renai Hospital?
The treatment is performed by specially trained medical doctors. To ensure proper treatment, it is necessary for patients to come to the Hospital to accept the treatment. An appointment is necessary.
