Subject: Making a move
Date: Tue, 21 Mar 2022 19:55:35 GMT |
I just wanted to let the group know that I will be moving soon. I have
resigned my position at UCLA to accept a position at the Cleveland
Clinic Florida in Fort Lauderdale effective June 1, 2000. I will be head
of the section of Kidney Transplantation within the Department of
Urology and will also be starting a new clinic focused on
prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome |
At the Institute for Male Urology, Drs. Zeitlin and Rajfer will continue
to see patients as before and I will continue as a consultant for that
clinic. My move will not impact patients or clinical trials there in any
way |
At Harbor-UCLA Medical Center Dr. Zeitlin will take over my prostatitis
practice. He will also take over seeing patients enrolled in the NIH
cohort study. I will stop seeing new patients at Harbor at the end of
April and stop seeing patients completely on May 19 |
I will be moving my lab to Florida and continue with my NIH sponsored
basic science research there. In addition, it is planned that I will be
able to enroll patients into the new NIH randomized controlled trial set
to begin in July 2000. This will hopefully allow many more patients to
participate in the NIH collaborative studies since there currently is no
center in the Southeastern United States |
My UCLA web site and email will be discontinued on May 20. I will have a
Cleveland Clinic web presence but I don't have the info yet. My page
will always be reachable through the remailer address

The new address and phone number will be:
Cleveland Clinic Florida
Department of Urology
3000 West Cypress Creek Rd
Fort Lauderdale, FL
33309
