TRUS: Blurred out zone delimitations, cloudy appearance of peripheral zone with severe edema (swelling and extreme tenderness of gland). |
2) Same cross-section at 1 week
after intensive antibiotic treatment. No pain, no fever, spontaneous
micturition.
TRUS: Reduced total glandular volume. Beginning delimitation of sector-shaped hyperechoic areas (high concentration of cellular elements in inflamed tissue) in both side-lobes. |
